From the founders

Comment LinkedIn below to get the full playbook.

ou've probably seen the post. You might've even left "LinkedIn" as a comment yourself.

If you believe the hype, everything's supposed to be on autopilot now. Sit back. Sleep through it. Pipeline appears overnight. And if you're not doing it, you're falling behind.

There's probably a 23-year-old hammering your inbox right now, promising 150 meetings a month for $99 — based on the vast experience of a Claude subscription and a TikTok account.

If your gut tells you that's too good to be true — you're in the right place.

We built Drumbeat to be the system grown-ups use to win business on LinkedIn. Forget the hype, the hyperbole, the hysteria.

We've been the people on the phones. We got blisters working trade-show stands. We've still got papercut scars from sealing direct-mail envelopes. And we were pioneering AI back in 2015, before "AI" was a word your CFO knew how to spell.

If you want a vibe-coded LinkedIn spammer that an AI bro is flogging — who in 2023 was a Crypto bro, who in 2021 was an NFT guy, who in 2019 was a dropshipper — this is the wrong place for you.

If you want a grown-up, team-ready platform that drives qualified leads into your funnel, written in your voice and approved by your team — we're very happy to introduce you to Drumbeat.

Welcome to the band.

Yours in the band,

Parry, Dan & Jonny

Who's in the band

Operators who've spent their careers on the hard parts of GTM — and built one of the first AI marketing platforms before it was a buzzword.

Parry Malm

CEO & Co-founder

Founder & CEO, Phrasee — exited for $102m, 2022

Parry on stage, the sales team mopping up the leads behind him. That was the playbook that took Phrasee from a 2015 idea to a $102m exit in 2022 — and Drumbeat is the 2026 version of it: every team turning its online presence into a standing source of pipeline. Parry was talking about AI before it was cool — on the BBC, and in front of UK Parliament back in 2016. Some of them even listened.

Dan Medlock

COO & Co-founder

LinkedIn
Previously

CFO, Phrasee ($102m exit) · Streetbees · BT · KPMG

Dan is the one in the room when the deals get done — and the one who makes sure Drumbeat can back up every word of them. He trained at KPMG and BT, ran finance at Streetbees, and was CFO at Phrasee from 2020 straight through the $102m exit. He's seen, up close, what happens when a company's promises outrun what it can actually deliver. At Drumbeat, that doesn't happen on his watch.

Jonny Moore

CCO & Co-founder

GTM, Upland (formerly Adestra)

Jonny ran go-to-market at Adestra (later Upland) for the better part of two decades — long enough to know which tools earn a place in a team's day, and which get quietly abandoned by week three. He's watched every kind of marketing software get sold and shelved. That's the bar he holds Drumbeat to: it works for real teams in the real world, or it doesn't ship. He also drums — which is, as it happens, where the company got its name.

Rob Amos

Head of Customer Engagement

LinkedIn
Previously

Upland (formerly Adestra) · Velo Marketing · e-Dialog

Rob has spent the better part of twenty-five years on the customer's side of marketing technology — client strategy, partnerships and product marketing across Adestra, Upland, and his own agency, Velo. He's onboarded, advised and rescued more marketing teams than he can count. At Drumbeat he runs customer engagement, which means one thing: making sure the product actually works for you, not just gets sold to you.

Mohit Bhardwaj

Phrasee — first engineer, 2015

Mohit was the first engineer at Phrasee, building production AI systems back in 2015. He stayed nearly a decade, through to the $102m exit. A career spent shipping real AI has taught him precisely where it earns its keep — and where a human has to take over. At Drumbeat, he makes sure the product knows the difference.
