AI safety and security
AI you can trust with your name on it.
Built for serious businesses. Drumbeat uses AI extensively, but not recklessly. Customer data stays protected, a human approves every outbound action, and no single model provider is trusted with the whole system.
Human approval
A human approves every outbound action.
Every one. Drumbeat can recommend, rank, draft and prepare. It never sends a post, an invitation or a message on its own.
- The person whose name is on it Reviews it, edits it if they want to, and approves it or skips it.
- No off switch There is no setting that turns approval off, for a person or for a team.
- A full audit trail Every draft, edit, approval and skip is recorded: who did what, and when.
- The working out, not the move The machine does the working out. The human makes the move.
Your data
We do not send your data to train big tech LLMs.
Drumbeat uses commercial API access to model providers, not consumer chat products.
- Never used for training Under those terms, what Drumbeat sends is not used to train or fine-tune anyone’s models. Not OpenAI’s, not Anthropic’s, not Google’s.
- Only what the task needs A model sees what a task needs in order to do that task, and nothing more.
- Not your whole business It does not get your CRM, your team’s inboxes or a running feed of everything Drumbeat knows about your business.
- No single provider Drumbeat uses more than one, and plain rules where a decision shouldn’t be left to a language model at all.
Guardrails
What stops the AI going rogue?
The recent horror stories share a shape: an AI with the power to act, and nobody checking. Drumbeat is built the other way round, and every outbound action still waits for a human.
- Bounded jobs Models understand, draft, score and rank. They do not take actions.
- Rules a model can’t talk past Actions are taken by ordinary software, under platform limits, eligibility and whatever your team has put off limits.
- Fails safe A bad or strange model response is discarded, not acted on. Failure is graceful, never irreversible.
- Tested before it ships Material changes to a model or a prompt go through automated testing and evaluation before they reach customers.
Built safely for LinkedIn.
Drumbeat is not a bot hammering LinkedIn in the background.
- No browser automation It does not rely on browser automation pretending to be a human.
- APIs and limits It uses LinkedIn’s APIs where they apply, and respects the platform’s limits.
- Only what a person chose Every action is approved by the person it belongs to, so LinkedIn only ever sees things a human chose to do.
- Backs off first At the first sign of a rate limit, Drumbeat slows down and backs off, rather than pushing its luck.
Software security
Proper B2B software, built by adults.
AI safety still depends on ordinary software security.
- Role-based access
- Logical tenant separation
- Encrypted sensitive credentials
- Controlled production access
- Automated testing
- Operational monitoring
Human-first AI, not AI-first humans.
See how Drumbeat works out what’s worth doing, and leaves the final call with the person whose name is on it.
